STAR SONG RECORDS
I designed this logo for Darrell Harris and Wayne Donowho of Star Song years before a similar logo was created for my favorite team-the Astros. I am very proud of this as I’m convinced it was exactly the right design for them.
I illustrated the star with a Japanese brush to preserve an artistic, human touch.

BATTLE CALL MINISTRIES
It is a blessing to see and hear the call of God in individuals’ lives. In this case, the Lord called this young man out from a successful secular career track and set him apart for Himself. Battle Call Ministries exists for the purpose of sending a clear message to the church that the hour is very near for His Coming.

This version of the logo was not the final, but it was my personal favorite.

SENIOR CARE
Senior Care Ministries was established as a youth ministry that used concerts to raise money to help the elderly poor.

Thanks to Grant Wood and his timeless ”American Gothic” for inspiration and my good illustrator friend Jeff Sansom.

KING COMP - Logo for a comp service for ad agencies
King Comp was a service I created and had Federally trademarked. My friend, fun loving Aaron Soderburg was working for me at the time. His wonderful, quirky and light-hearted view of life comes through so well in this logo he illustrated.

No stock art. This was all from scratch.

HAPPY JACK'S LEARNING CENTER
This Christian Day Care Center was a God-send for many families. In the few years it has been open not only does it create a safe Christ centered place for kids, but many families have been won to the Lord through it. It was named in honor of the Pastor’s grandson Jack, who went to be with the Lord at a very young age.

THE RIVER TREE COMPANY
This logo was designed for a 100% online Christian gift company. The owner wanted to symbolize the tree mentioned in Revelation 22:1-5 “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

I drew this tree in Adobe Illustrator. It would be an excellent woodcut. Maybe I’ll make one someday.
